Our organic plums and organic walnuts grow on the slopes of the wild romantic Pamir mountain range on the ancient Silk Road near Samarkand in today’s Uzbekistan. The organic plums growing wild or overgrown are harvested by hand and pitted. After this the plums are being carefully dried on our own solar dryers and sorted by hand at our Uzbek subsidiary Silk Road Organic Foods in Samarkand. Our organic walnuts are being harvest by hand and then shelled and sorted. At last the organic prunes are stuffed with organic walnuts. The sweet fruity prune is united with the aromatic walnut!
