Our organic persimmons are from our own certified-organic plantations along the Silk Road in Uzbekistan. They ripen during the hot summers to become very intensive tasting fruits. Our organic persimmons are harvested by hand once fully ripened. After collection and washing the persimmons are cleaned of the fruit leaves and cut into rings. After this the persimmons are carefully dried on our own solar dryers and sorted by hand at our Uzbek subsidiary Silk Road Organic Foods in Samarkand. Our organic dried persimmons are 100% natural and raw food quality. We recommend usage of our very aromatic organic persimmons as an alternative to regular dried fruits, as a snack or cut into cubes as an ingredient in your muesli, yoghurt, muffins or cakes.
